No, you can hire it for just the hours you need e.g. 10am – 2pm.

Yes but please ensure that the supplier you use has the correct insurance in place. The Memorial Hall will not be liable for any accidents or injuries.

If you want to sell alcohol, have regulated entertainment or late night refreshment and don’t hold a premises licence or club premises certificate, you can apply for a Temporary Event Notices (TEN) from South Hams District Council. This gives you temporary permission to carry out these licensable activities.

Yes, but that comes with the hire of the kitchen at an extra cost.

Yes, both wine and beer glasses are available.

How to find the hall

From Plymouth on the A379 pass the Modbury town sign, negotiate a double bend and then turn left at Palm Cross Green towards Dartmouth. Almost immediately turn right before the Primary School into Back Street – the Memorial Hall is on the right.

From Kingsbridge on the A379 go through the centre of Modbury and up Church Street. At the top turn right at Palm Cross Green and then, as above, right again before the School into Back Street.
